M-Live MBC Foot Controller
Four footswitches provide menu navigation and playback control for B.Beat players. Short and long presses access different functions, allowing songs and playlists to be selected while your hands remain on your instrument.
UP and DOWN move through lists and adjust selected values; PLAY and STOP control playback. One STOP press pauses, two return to the beginning and three unload the track from memory. A short PLAY press starts the selected track, with subsequent actions depending on project markers.
Long presses access BACK, ESC, ENTER and LOOP functions. You can repeat a marked section or enable an indefinite loop. Loop availability depends on the B.Beat model and installed LOOP firmware; controller operation requires player firmware 5.0 or later.
The supplied USB cable powers MBC. Two ports on the built-in USB hub accept an M-Pen or other peripherals. The manufacturer recommends external power when additional USB devices are connected.
Main Features
- A short press within 0.25 seconds and a long press beyond 0.5 seconds distinguish primary and secondary commands.
- UP, DOWN, STOP and PLAY labels identify the primary functions.
- BACK returns through menus, ESC exits the selected function and ENTER confirms a choice.
- Pressing PLAY twice within 0.7 seconds advances to the next playlist track when the project has no markers.
- A status LED indicates connection and playback states, including pause, preloaded tracks and active loops.
