M-Live LAKYX L5 DMX Controller

M-Live LAKYX L5 DMX Controller

Lighting shows synchronized with B.Beat projects are created in B.Beat Manager. The LAKYX hardware sends DMX data to the stage lighting rig, while the completed show is stored on the player. No additional computer is needed to run the lights during a performance.

Automatic generation analyzes selected musical tracks and creates fixture movements, colors and effects. A virtual stage configuration defines fixtures, DMX addresses, groups and movement areas. Saved configurations let the same show adapt to the equipment available at different venues.

You can also record a show from an external DMX console, replay it with the music and adjust its alignment. Recording includes a five-second lead-in and tail. Lights-only projects work without backing tracks, using a chosen BPM, time signature, duration and style.

USB-C connects the controller to B.Beat for both data and power. LAKYX is not a DMX adapter that connects directly to a computer over USB. B.Beat firmware and B.Beat Manager must both be version 6.0 or later.

Main Features

• Automatic generation distinguishes Background, Effect, Accent and Key fixture roles.
• A library of thousands of fixtures, plus custom fixture definitions, supports venue-specific rig configurations.
• BYPASS passes an external console signal from DMX IN directly to DMX OUT without rewiring.
• Preview through direct DMX, Art-Net or Capture 3D visualization. The manufacturer provides 128-channel and 512-channel demo stages.
• Art-Net requires Ethernet; a Wi-Fi-only connection to B.Beat does not support this transmission.
• Editable cues and the supplied BLACKOUT, BYPASS and PRESET CUE commands provide quick lighting states.
• POWER, DMX IN and DMX OUT indicators show power and signal status.
• For more than 32 connected DMX devices, the manufacturer recommends a DMX splitter or repeater.
• The supplied stand mount attaches to the threaded hole on the rear.
