M-Live B.Beat PLUS is a standalone multitrack backing track and video player designed to manage music, MIDI commands and visual content during live performances.

The unit plays stereo and multitrack audio projects. Individual songs can be organised into playlists and shows, then associated with video files, images, lyrics or sheet music. Projects can also include MIDI tracks for controlling external stage equipment.

The PLUS version uses markers to identify song sections and repeat them during a performance. Markers can be generated automatically and quantised to the rhythmic grid. The unit also provides backing-track transposition, selective removal of vocals, drums, bass or other elements from a stereo track, and an independent 3-band EQ for every audio track. Advanced video tools include crossfades, fade-in and fade-out control, and adjustable audio-to-video synchronisation.

The integrated digital mixer provides six discrete audio outputs, two line inputs and a headphone output. A click track included in a project can be detected automatically and routed to a selected audio output and the headphones at the same time. Four physical controls let the performer adjust the balance of the sources heard in the headphones.

B.Beat Manager for Windows and macOS is used to prepare projects, assign audio tracks to outputs and transfer content. The 256 GB internal memory stores the show repertoire, while USB, Ethernet, MIDI and HDMI connections allow the unit to become part of a stage system. No computer is required during the performance.
