The Lab Gruppen FA1202 is a two-channel Class D power amplifier delivering 120 W per channel.

Each output can be configured independently for 4 Ω, 8 Ω, 70 V or 100 V operation. One unit can therefore power two distributed audio zones or two low-impedance loudspeaker circuits. The direct-drive design avoids a conventional output transformer and maintains the 120 W rating in every supported output mode.

Two balanced Euroblock inputs offer selectable +4 dBu or -10 dBV sensitivity, allowing the amplifier to work with sources operating at different levels. Each channel has its own gain control, load configuration switches and 80 Hz high-pass filter. Two RJ45 connections support independent zone volume control with compatible CRC-V or LAB.LEVEL controllers.

The FA1202 enters standby after 20 minutes without an input signal and resumes operation when a signal returns. Active power factor correction and Energy Star 3.0 certification identify its energy-conscious power supply design. The fanless half-rack-width 1U enclosure suits quiet fixed installations and supports several mounting arrangements.
