The Lab Gruppen CA2401 is a single-channel Class D power amplifier delivering 240 W.

The output can be configured for 4 Ω, 8 Ω, 70 V or 100 V operation. A single CA2401 can power a larger distributed audio zone with several transformer-coupled loudspeakers or one low-impedance loudspeaker circuit. A selectable 80 Hz high-pass filter reduces low-frequency energy that can saturate loudspeaker transformers in 70/100 V systems.

Front-panel master volume, bass and treble controls allow basic system adjustment without an additional processor. The balanced Euroblock input connects a mixer or audio processor, while the RCA pair accepts an unbalanced stereo source and sums it to mono. The loudspeaker line connects through a Euroblock output, and an RJ45 GPI socket supports remote volume control.

The CA2401 enters standby after 20 minutes without an input signal and resumes operation when a signal returns. Its Class D direct-drive circuit provides the same rated power in all four output modes. Fanless convection cooling suits quiet rooms, while the half-rack-width 1U enclosure offers several mounting options with the supplied hardware.
