The KRK ROKIT 8 G5 is a fifth-generation active studio monitor designed for music production, recording, mixing, mastering, and critical listening in the studio.

The monitor features three voicing modes. Mix mode provides a flat frequency and phase response, Create mode is suited to music production and casual listening, while Focus mode emphasises the midrange for detailed analysis of vocals and instruments.

The integrated digital signal processor provides 25 EQ combinations for adapting the monitor to its position and the acoustics of the room. The free KRK Audio Tools app helps analyse room acoustics and select suitable EQ settings.

An 8-inch woofer with a woven Kevlar® aramid fibre cone and a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter provide an extended frequency range from 32 Hz to 40 kHz. The front-firing bass reflex port and low-diffraction baffle help deliver controlled low-frequency reproduction and precise stereo imaging.

Separate Class D amplifiers for the low- and high-frequency drivers provide 203 W of total rated power and up to 312 W of dynamic power. A balanced XLR and 1/4-inch TRS combo input allows the monitor to be connected to an audio interface, mixing console, or other professional audio equipment.
