Klark Teknik DN100 V2 is a single-channel active DI box with an extended dynamic range.

It accepts balanced or unbalanced instrument and line-level signals, then feeds them to a mixing console through its balanced XLR output. The unit runs on +48 V phantom power from the console, so no separate power supply is needed.

Its two 1/4-inch TRS sockets and XLR input are linked in parallel. One 1/4-inch socket can be used to pass the signal on to a guitar or bass amplifier. The 1 MΩ input impedance suits instruments with passive pickups, while the XLR-only input impedance is 20 kΩ for line-level equipment.

A 20 dB input pad accommodates higher-level signals. The ground-lift switch helps reduce noise caused by ground loops, while transformer isolation electrically separates connected stage equipment from the sound system. The aluminium enclosure with protective rubber corners is designed for transport and event use.
