This insert acts as a filter, dampening floor noise and vibrations, which is critically important when recording kick drums or powerful instrument amplifiers.

The stand has a fixed height of 430 mm, but features a 2-piece telescopic boom arm that adjusts in length from 425 to 725 mm. This allows for flexible and precise microphone positioning even in hard-to-reach places. A convenient wing nut is used for boom arm locking.
