Ibanez V40CE-OPN is a cutaway Dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar for acoustic playing and connection to compatible audio equipment through its 1/4″ output.

The spruce top provides the tonal clarity associated with this widely used acoustic guitar top wood. Meranti back and sides deliver a warm and balanced tone, while the body cutaway provides easier access to the upper frets.

The V Meranti neck is paired with a Nandu Wood fretboard, which contributes to a rich and warm tone. The Nandu Wood bridge transfers string vibrations directly to the body, supporting a natural and warm sound.

The Ibanez Undersaddle pickup accurately reproduces the acoustic character of the guitar. The Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp provides bass, treble and volume controls. Its onboard tuner can be used without connecting the guitar to external audio equipment.

Ibanez Advantage™ bridge pins are designed for easier removal and installation than standard bridge pins. Their bulb-shaped ends provide a secure grip, help prevent the pins from being pushed in too far and keep the pins and strings firmly in place.
