The Scarlett 2i2 Anniversary Edition is a limited-edition 2-in, 2-out USB audio interface built on Focusrite's 4th Generation Scarlett platform, released to mark the company's 40th year. Two 4th Gen Scarlett mic preamps deliver a 69dB gain range with an EIN of -127dBu (A-Weighted), and the 24-bit/192kHz converters (drawn from the flagship RedNet series) reach a 120dB dynamic range at the balanced line outputs. Two Air modes, Presence and Harmonic Drive, reproduce the tonal character of the original Focusrite Studio Console.

The ISA-blue aluminium chassis sets this unit apart from the standard red Scarlett 2i2 and carries the historic ff logo on top, originally standing for "first foundation." The underside features a silkscreened tribute to the ISA 110 preamp/EQ schematic and Studio Console. Each unit ships in a limited-edition black-and-gold gift box, and Focusrite Control 2 includes a fresh ISA-inspired interface theme designed specifically for this edition.

• Auto Gain and Clip Safe: Auto Gain analyses the incoming signal and sets the optimal gain level automatically. Clip Safe monitors in real time and adjusts gain if clipping is imminent, protecting takes without manual intervention.
• Dynamic Gain Halos: LED rings around each input knob display level status with colour coding, giving a clear visual indication of headroom without requiring a separate meter.
• Hi-Z instrument inputs: Two front-panel combo inputs include an Inst switch that raises impedance to 1MΩ for direct connection of electric guitars and basses.
• Studio-grade converters: A/D and D/A converters drawn from Focusrite's flagship RedNet range, with a 120dB dynamic range at the line outputs and 130dB (A-Weighted) on the D/A converter.
• USB-C connectivity: USB 2.0 protocol via USB-C, bus-powered at 900mA. An optional 5V external power input (not included) is available at the rear panel.
• Custom headphone amplifier: A dedicated front-panel 6.3mm output with its own level control, delivering up to 32mW into 33Ω or 22mW into 300Ω, with a dynamic range of 112-115dB depending on load.
