The Flight UTS-42 Snow is an Ultra Travel Series soprano ukulele with a body, neck, fingerboard and bridge made from reinforced polycarbonate. A snow design covers the soundboard and headstock, while the all-plastic construction is intended for frequent transport and changing environmental conditions.

The body components are ultrasonically welded, and the thin soundboard is reinforced internally with a lattice structure. The arched back forms part of the body shape, while the slotted bridge allows strings to be changed without tying knots.

The soprano format has a 350 mm scale length, 12 frets and a 37.3 mm neck width at the nut. A zero fret, open geared tuners, fingerboard and side markers, and a strap button form a clear travel-instrument layout.

Flight fluorocarbon strings and a drawstring bag are supplied with the ukulele. Wound strings or strings containing metal particles must not be used on this model because they can damage the polycarbonate frets and fingerboard.
