FBT TALOS 20K4 TD is a 4-channel Class D power amplifier.

Total rated output is 20,000 W RMS. The 40-bit DSP operates at 96 kHz and manages passive PA loudspeakers, subwoofers and line arrays.

System Engineer controls the amplifier over Ethernet TCP/IP. DHCP, static IP and Auto-IP support direct computer connections.

The TD version has factory-fitted Dante networking, alongside 4 balanced analogue XLR inputs with LINK and an AES3 digital input.

Main Features

• LIR linear-phase and Hardman crossover filters, plus FIR high-frequency shelving EQ, shape loudspeaker response.
• VX protects passive two-way loudspeakers. Tmax manages thermal load, Xmax uses a sliding HPF for excursion control, and a peak limiter handles transients.
• Drive Modules and Component Presets organize processing around loudspeaker components. There are 12 independent overlays of EQ, Delay and Gain for group adjustments.
• EBP limits mains current draw according to the selected external breaker rating.
• A graphical display, 2 encoders and illuminated buttons provide local control. A panel lock is available; Snapshot recall works locally, in software or via AUX.
• AUX contact inputs recall settings and mute the system. A fault relay communicates status to external control equipment.
• Standby and Deep Sleep have automatic timers. Wake-up is possible through the front panel, network, contact input or audio detection.
• System Engineer logs up to 3 days of operation, including current, voltage, driver impedance, thermal capacity and protection activity, with diagnostic export.

Variable-speed fans provide front-to-back airflow through washable filters. The 19-inch, 2U chassis requires rear support in a mobile rack; the ZA1182 kit is sold separately.
