FBT LIBRA 5CT Passive Speaker

FBT LIBRA 5CT is a pendant Passive Speaker for speech and background music. It suits fixed installations in shops, museums, galleries and public spaces, particularly where recessed ceiling speakers cannot be used.

The two-way design places a 1-inch high-frequency driver in the centre of the 5-inch woofer. The sturdy ABS cabinet and aluminium grille suit fixed installation.

The built-in transformer supports 70 V and 100 V distributed systems, with a 15 Ω low-impedance mode also available. The power selector sits beneath the top cover. A 4-pin Euroblock connector provides INPUT and LINK contacts for additional speakers.

The suspension cable is 3.5 m long. Cable clamps allow height adjustment, while the ceiling canopy covers the mounting point.

Who Is It For

For fixed sound installations. A qualified installer must check the load capacity of the supporting structure, use FBT mounting hardware and anchor the safety cable separately.

For voice alarm use, the manual requires a separate junction box with a ceramic terminal block and thermal fuse.
