FBT KEIRON 8S Passive Subwoofer

FBT KEIRON 8S is a passive bass-reflex subwoofer.

It extends the low-frequency response of a KEIRON sound system in fixed music and live-program installations. Its compact enclosure supports discreet integration into the room.

An external power amplifier suitable for a 8 Ω load and an external crossover are required. There is no internal passive crossover. Frequency filtering must be handled by external processing.

The HDF wooden enclosure has a scratch-resistant paint finish. Both black and white versions are available.

Main Features

• The 4-pin Euroblock connector accepts the amplifier output through INPUT terminals and provides LINK terminals for another speaker in parallel. Check the combined load when connecting several speakers.
• 4 removable support feet allow ground placement. The optional KR-W 8S bracket supports wall mounting.
• The recommended external high-pass filter is 38 Hz at 24 dB/oct to limit very low-frequency loading.
• Low-frequency dispersion is omnidirectional.
• Do not connect directly to a 100 V or other constant-voltage speaker line.

Who Is It For

For fixed music systems in bars, conference rooms and other public spaces. It complements the main KEIRON speakers where additional low-frequency extension is needed.
