FBT KEIRON 5C Passive Speaker

FBT KEIRON 5C Passive Speaker

FBT KEIRON 5C is a passive 2-way coaxial loudspeaker.

Designed for fixed speech and music installations, it places the high-frequency driver at the centre of the low-frequency driver. This arrangement combines both drivers within a compact enclosure.

An external power amplifier suitable for a 16 Ω load is required. The 4-pin Euroblock connector provides INPUT terminals and LINK terminals for a parallel connection to another speaker. Match the combined load to the amplifier capabilities.

The HDF wooden cabinet has a scratch-resistant paint finish. Available black and white versions allow the speaker to suit different interiors.

Main Features

• A fabric grille covers the cabinet front. The system reproduces speech and music with low distortion.
• 90° conical dispersion distributes sound across the listening area.
• An internal 3 kHz passive crossover divides the signal between the low- and high-frequency drivers.
• The recommended external high-pass filter is 70 Hz at 24 dB/oct. FBT recommends an FBT DSP Processor for signal processing.
• The optional WM-45 wall bracket allows horizontal and vertical aiming.
• Do not connect directly to a 100 V or other constant-voltage speaker line.
