FBT KEIRON 12S Passive Subwoofer

FBT KEIRON 12S is a passive bass-reflex subwoofer.

It extends the low-frequency response of a KEIRON sound system in fixed music and live-program installations. Its compact enclosure supports discreet integration into the room.

An external power amplifier suitable for a 8 Ω load and an external crossover are required. There is no internal passive crossover. An external digital processor is necessary for correct performance and woofer protection.

The enclosure uses approximately 15 mm (0.59-inch) birch plywood with a metal front grille and a scratch-resistant finish. Black and white versions are available.

Main Features

• The Neutrik speakON NL4 connector accepts a speaker cable from the external amplifier.
• Approved for ground-stack only use. 4 anchoring points accept optional feet or a metal base for appropriately supported horizontal or vertical placement.
• The recommended external high-pass filter is 38 Hz at 24 dB/oct to limit very low-frequency loading.
• Low-frequency dispersion is omnidirectional.
