The FBT ELYSION 8ST is a passive subwoofer designed for in-ceiling installation.

It extends the low-frequency response of an ELYSION sound system while keeping the floor and walls clear. The steel enclosure houses an 8-inch low-frequency driver.

An external power amplifier is required. Select the 8 Ω bypass setting or use the built-in transformer for 70 V and 100 V distributed lines. In a multi-speaker installation, the combined tap power must stay within the amplifier rating.

The magnetic steel front grille can be removed to access the power selector and can be painted to match the room. Black and white grille finishes are available.

Main Features

• Three spring mounting clamps hold the enclosure in the ceiling, with screw adjustment for a secure fit. Installation requires a safety cable and a structure capable of supporting the load.
• The 4-pin Euroblock IN and LOOP connection accepts the signal and feeds other speakers. The connection system includes a thermal fuse.
• The power selector sits behind the front grille, allowing the setting to be changed without removing the enclosure from the ceiling.
• Omnidirectional dispersion and a dedicated low-frequency range support use alongside the main system speakers.

A qualified installer must carry out mounting and connection. Do not connect the 8 Ω input setting to a 100 V line; select the appropriate transformer setting first.
