FBT ELYSION 6CT Passive Speaker

The FBT ELYSION 6CT is a passive speaker for in-ceiling installation.

A 6.5-inch low-frequency driver and a 0.75-inch high-frequency driver form a two-way system for music and speech in fixed indoor installations.

An external amplifier is required. The speaker supports a 16 Ω bypass setting and includes a transformer for 70 V and 100 V distributed systems. The power selector behind the front grille sets the power for each installation zone.

The ABS enclosure has a scratch-resistant painted finish. Its magnetic steel grille is removable and paintable, with black and white grille finishes available.

Main Features

• Three spring mounting clamps secure the speaker in the ceiling; a safety hook supports the safety cable. Adjustment screws set the clamp position to suit the ceiling structure.
• A ceramic terminal block accepts the speaker cable, and a link connection feeds other speakers. The connection system incorporates a thermal fuse.
• In a 70 V or 100 V system, each speaker can use a different power tap. The combined tap power of all speakers on the line must not exceed the amplifier rating.
• An ELYSION 8S subwoofer can extend the system when additional low-frequency output is needed.

A qualified installer must carry out mounting and connection. A safety cable and a structure capable of supporting the speaker are required. Never connect the 16 Ω bypass setting to a 100 V line.
