The FBT CLA 208SA is an active subwoofer with two 8-inch high-excursion drivers in a bass-reflex cabinet. It extends the low-frequency range of a CLA 604A column array.

Its Class D amplifier and four DSP presets allow the low-frequency response to be adapted to the system. Phase can be switched between 0° and 180°, with selectable crossover settings.

The rear panel provides stereo XLR/Jack inputs, link connections and filtered stereo XLR outputs. PowerCon input and link connectors support power distribution.

The 15 mm birch-plywood cabinet has two handles, an M20 pole socket and front latching points for CLA 604A modules. It can serve as the base of a compact expandable sound system.
