Description
FBT VERTUS CLA 118SA Active Subwoofer
FBT VERTUS CLA 118SA is an active subwoofer with one 18-inch B&C driver in a bass-reflex cabinet.
Its built-in Class D amplifier delivers 1200 W RMS. Eight DSP presets provide settings for different FBT CLA system configurations.
The cabinet port is designed to reduce airflow turbulence at high output. The rear panel provides XLR input and link plus level, delay and phase controls.
The birch-plywood cabinet has two carrying handles and an M20 pole mount. FBT specifies this model for low-frequency support of CLA 406.2A and CLA 206A systems.
Main Features
- An 18-inch B&C driver with a 3-inch voice coil reproduces low frequencies.
- Built-in 1200 W RMS amplification removes the need for a separate power amplifier.
- Eight DSP presets let the operator choose the manufacturer-defined system setup.
- The 33–120 Hz response extends the low-frequency range of CLA systems.
- XLR input and link support connections to other system modules.
- Phase and delay controls help align the subwoofer with the rest of the system.
- The M20 mount accepts a compatible pole in FBT system configurations.
- Two side handles assist with handling the 41.5 kg cabinet.
