FBT CANTO 5CA is a 2-way active loudspeaker with a coaxial driver arrangement.

The polypropylene cabinet is designed for fixed sound installations. Black and white finishes are available to suit the room interior.

Separate Class D amplifiers power the low- and high-frequency drivers. A switch-mode power supply and built-in DSP support speech, music playback and close listening applications.

Balanced XLR IN accepts a microphone or line-level signal, while XLR LINK passes the same signal to another speaker. MIC mode is intended for a low-impedance dynamic microphone; use LINE for a mixer or another line-level source.

Main Features

• 4 DSP presets: Original for live sound, Monitor for close listening, Vocal for speech intelligibility and Boost for stronger bass. Presets adjust EQ and dynamic processing. DSP also provides protection circuits.
• LEVEL adjusts the overall signal level. The PRT/LMT indicator shows limiter activity or a system fault.
• Automatic standby reduces power consumption when no input signal is present. The speaker returns to normal operation when a signal is detected.
• The switchable HPF high-pass filter supports use with a separate subwoofer.
• The asymmetric cabinet can be laid on the floor for use as a floor stage monitor.
• A 25 mm pole socket allows mounting on a suitable speaker stand.
• 90° conical dispersion covers a broad listening area. The coaxial arrangement places both drivers on the same axis.
• The optional WM-45 wall bracket allows horizontal and vertical adjustment of the speaker position.

The AJ-8 adapter connects a 35 mm stand pole to the speaker’s 25 mm socket.

Suspended installation must be carried out by qualified personnel using original FBT supports and an independent secondary safety system.
