ELECTRO-HARMONIX Small Clone Analog Chorus
The Electro-Harmonix Small Clone is a reissue of the classic 70s/80s analog chorus pedal, accurately reproducing the same sound heard on "Come As You Are" and many other hits. Unlike many modern pedals, it maintains simplicity while offering an incredible depth and warmth of tone, characteristic only of a truly analog circuit.
The pedal is controlled by just two elements: a large Rate knob, which sets the modulation speed, and a Depth switch, which changes the intensity of the effect. This minimalism hides a wide range of sounds – from subtle, ethereal shimmer to deep, pulsating warbles. Thanks to its unique circuit, the Small Clone sounds great with both clean and heavily distorted signals.
Key Features
- Legendary Tone: Authentic analog *chorus* sound, popularized by Nirvana and other artists.
- Depth Switch: Allows selection between two modulation depths: subtle and deep.
- Rate Knob: Smoothly adjusts the effect speed, allowing creation of everything from slow undulation to fast vibrato.
- True Bypass: Ensures a clean and unaltered signal path when the pedal is off.
- Classic Design: Large, sturdy vintage-style EHX enclosure.
