The Electro-Harmonix Pitch Fork is a versatile pitch-shifting pedal that can transform your 6-string guitar into a 12-string instrument, a bass guitar (by dropping an octave), or create complex harmonies. Its intuitive controls allow you to select fixed intervals or, by connecting an external Expression pedal, control the pitch in real-time, mimicking "Whammy" effects or slow "glissando."

The pedal has three main modes: Up (transposes up), Down (transposes down), and Dual (transposes in both directions simultaneously). The Dual mode is particularly useful for creating wide, orchestral sounds (e.g., adding a fifth up and an octave down). Additionally, the Latch button allows you to choose between standard on/off and momentary operation (the effect is active only while you hold down the footswitch), which opens the door for short effect bursts.
