Description
ELECTRO-HARMONIX Pico Swello Envelope Attack Filter
The Electro-Harmonix Pico Swello is a polyphonic envelope (attack) filter designed to transform the beginning of every note or chord. It's taken directly from the popular POG2 pedal and enhanced with an additional modulatable Low-Pass Filter. This effect allows you to soften the attack of your instrument, creating smooth, "floating" sounds reminiscent of string instruments or reverse effects, even when playing fast passages or arpeggios.
The main ATTACK control determines how quickly the sound reaches its maximum level – from a short softening to long, slow swell effects. The pedal also features an integrated low-pass filter (LPF) with resonance, which can be controlled via a button. The MOD knob allows you to modulate the filter's frequency up or down, giving the sound even more life and movement. The modulation time is directly linked to the "Attack" setting, ensuring the effect always remains musical.
