Description
ELECTRO-HARMONIX Pico POG Polyphonic Octave Generator
The Electro-Harmonix Pico POG is a powerful octave generator housed in an ultra-compact ("Pico" size) enclosure. This pedal allows guitarists and bassists to simultaneously generate an octave up and an octave down, maintaining full polyphony – meaning the pedal precisely tracks not only individual notes but also full chords with glitch-free tracking.
The main distinguishing feature of this model, besides its size, is the versatile TONE control with three filtering modes. This allows not only for signal blending but also for radically changing their character: from bright, 12-string guitar-like sounds to powerful organ or synthesizer timbres. The pedal comes with a power supply, so it's ready to use right out of the box.
Key Features
- Compactness: The smallest model in the POG series, saving space on your pedalboard.
- Polyphony: Accurate tracking of chords and fast passages.
-
3 Voices: Separate level controls:
- Dry: Clean instrument.
- Sub Octave: Octave down.
- Octave Up: Octave up.
-
Filtering Modes (Filter Button):
- Tone (Green LED): "Tilt-EQ" filter, affecting all three voices (brightens or darkens the overall sound).
- Low Pass (Red LED): Resonant low-pass filter, affecting only the octaves (cuts high frequencies).
- High Pass (Orange LED): High-pass filter, affecting only the octaves (cuts low frequencies).
