The Electro-Harmonix Pico Atomic Cluster is an innovative "glitch" and synthesizer-type effect housed in a compact "Pico" series enclosure. This pedal operates on a unique principle: it reduces the frequency resolution of the instrument and generates resonant oscillations tied to the input signal. The result is a wide range of sounds, from rhythmic "Lo-Fi" glitches and automatic arpeggios to atmospheric synth pads.

The main pedal control, ATOMS, adjusts the number of oscillations: at maximum, the sound is close to the original signal, while reducing it makes the sound increasingly "pixelated," reminiscent of old computer games or a corrupted digital signal. The SPEED knob controls how quickly the algorithm updates the oscillations, creating rhythmic filter effects or chaotic randomness. The user can also choose between two modes: SHARP (abrupt, sharp transitions) and SMOOTH (gentle, ambient transitions).
