The Electro-Harmonix Nano Bass Big Muff Pi delivers the same powerful, earth-shaking bass tone as the larger Bass Big Muff, but in a compact Nano series size. This pedal is designed for bassists who need aggressive distortion but have limited pedalboard space. Its circuit is inspired by the legendary '90s "tank green" Russian Big Muff models.

This pedal's primary weapon in the fight against low-end loss is the Dry switch. When engaged, your original clean bass signal (at unity gain) is blended with the distorted signal. This allows you to achieve a massive fuzz effect without losing the natural "weight" and attack of your bass, which often happens when using guitar pedals.
