Description
ELECTRO-HARMONIX OD Glove MOSFET Overdrive / Distortion
Electro-Harmonix OD Glove is a versatile distortion pedal that provides a wide range of sounds while maintaining clarity and dynamic response. Using MOSFET technology, it creates a rich tone that doesn't get muddy and responds to your playing like a good tube amplifier. The pedal is perfect as a Clean Boost or as a primary crunch or distortion source.
The distinctive features of this model lie in its internal workings and controls. The front-panel Tone Shift switch allows you to change the mid-frequency emphasis, enabling you to shape the sound as needed. Another important feature is the Internal Voltage Switch. It allows you to select the operating mode: standard 9V (for a more compressed, classic sound) or 18V (for greater dynamic reserve / headroom and a more open sound), using the same 9V power supply.
Key Features
- MOSFET circuit: Ensures a warm, "tube-like" feel and rich harmonic overtones.
- Versatility: From sparkling Clean Boost to thick High-Gain distortion.
- Tone Shift switch: Controls mid-frequency emphasis.
- Internal 9V/18V switch: Allows selection between standard power and higher internal voltage (for better dynamic range), without changing the adapter.
- True Bypass: When the effect is off, the signal remains unaffected.
