Description
ELECTRO-HARMONIX Flatiron Fuzz / Distortion Pedal
Electro-Harmonix Flatiron Fuzz is a highly versatile distortion pedal, inspired by the classic 1970s "Op-Amp" circuit (similar to the ProCo Rat 2). This pedal feels equally at home playing gentle overdrive, powerful arena rock, or full-on saturated fuzz. Its name and design are a tribute to New York's historic Flatiron Building, which stood right next to the EHX headquarters in the 1960s.
The pedal's main asset is its unique Filter control. This is a low-pass filter with a movable cut-off frequency. It allows for precise adjustment of the high-frequency content: from a dark and gloomy sound to a sharp and piercing tone. The pedal features excellent dynamics – when the guitar's volume knob is rolled back, it cleans up without losing its character.
Key Features

- Versatility: Suitable for everything from light grit to massive fuzz sound.

- Dynamic Response: When the guitar's volume is reduced, the effect cleans up but doesn't turn off completely.
