Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Big Muff Pi 2 is an analog effects pedal. Its two-dual-op-amp circuit adds parametric midrange EQ, a noise gate and a dry-signal blend to the Big Muff 2 platform.

VOLUME, TONE and SUSTAIN set output level, tonal balance and distortion. BLEND restores the amount of dry signal you need, GATE sets the noise-gate threshold, and WICKER offers two additional high-frequency bandwidth settings.

A dedicated footswitch engages the MIDS section. Select the centre frequency, boost or cut it and choose a broader or narrower EQ response. Connecting an expression pedal or CV controller to EXP allows frequency sweeps for fuzz-wah sounds.

Both footswitches support latching and momentary operation. Internal trim pots provide further input-gain and MIDS adjustments; record their factory positions before making changes.
