The Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Bass Big Muff Pi is the most versatile bass Big Muff pedal ever created. It retains the same thunderous, earth-shaking tone EHX is famous for, but adds critically important features for studio and live work. This model allows for precise sound shaping using the Blend knob (to mix clean and distorted signals) and a unique Crossover filter.

A distinctive feature of this pedal is the footswitch-controlled Crossover section. When engaged, the pedal separates the signals: the clean signal passes through a Low Pass Filter (LPF), preserving the bass's "body," while the distorted signal passes through a High Pass Filter (HPF), providing sharpness and "cut." Additionally, the integrated Gate eliminates unwanted hum, and the XLR output allows for direct connection to a mixing console.
