The Electro-Harmonix Bender Royale is an homage to the legendary "Tone Bender MkIII" pedal, reborn with features to meet the needs of the modern musician. At the heart of this pedal lies an authentic analog circuit with three germanium transistors, creating the same thick, rich, and dynamic fuzz tone you've heard on classic rock recordings.

However, the "Bender Royale" doesn't stop at nostalgia. It's a true sound laboratory: using the BIAS knob, you can transform the sound from smooth and singing to an aggressive, gated/sputtery effect. Additional FAT (low-frequency boost) and CLIP (distortion type) switches allow for further shaping of the tone character, while the BLEND function lets you mix in the clean instrument signal, which is invaluable for bassists or those who want to preserve note attack.

Separate low (passive) and high (active) frequency controls provide complete EQ control, allowing you to tailor the pedal to any amplifier.
