This means you can use your favorite omnidirectional (Omni) microphones with reliable and stable 4099 CORE+ holders (e.g., guitar, violin, drum, or universal clips).

The G-MOUNT functions as a flexible gooseneck into which a miniature microphone is inserted. This gooseneck then simply fits into the 4099 CORE+ clip socket, exactly as a standard 4099 microphone does. This allows for close miking of instruments in the studio, using omni capsules for natural sound without the proximity effect, while utilizing the robust 4099 CORE+ mechanics.
