The DPA DPK4011 is a high-end piano microphone kit designed for natural and transparent sound capture in studios and concert halls. The kit includes two factory-matched 4011ES cardioid microphones, with sensitivity and frequency response matched to within ±1 dB. This is a stereo microphone kit, ensuring consistent sound across both channels for solo recordings or ensemble work.

Thanks to the extremely compact capsule design (only 35 mm long), this condenser microphone can be mounted inside the piano, even with the lid closed. The included magnetic mounts and flexible connectors allow for precise positioning of the microphones at the desired angle above the strings or hammers. The first-order cardioid characteristic ensures effective sound source separation and low ambient noise capture.
