The DPA 6388 CORE+ is a professional supercardioid headset microphone designed for theatre, live performance, broadcast, sports commentary, corporate events, conferences and houses of worship.

CORE+ by DPA capsule technology delivers natural voice reproduction and high speech intelligibility. Its supercardioid polar pattern provides effective off-axis rejection, allowing high usable gain while reducing the risk of acoustic feedback in demanding live sound environments.

The asymmetrical capsule and shifted acoustical axis are optimised for placement approximately 3 cm from the corner of the mouth. This construction helps maintain consistent sound and makes the microphone less sensitive to small placement variations.

The updated Act headset frame provides a secure fit, while the microphone boom can be mounted on either the left or right side. Soft rounded earhook tips, transparent clips, a non-reflective PVD finish and 90° cable routing support comfortable and unobtrusive use.

The DPA 6388 CORE+ is available in black, brown and beige, in Standard or Small sizes, and with MicroLock, 3-pin LEMO, TA4F Mini-XLR or Mini-Jack termination.

Both headset sizes are adjustable. The selected size changes the geometry and fit of the frame without changing the published acoustic or connector specifications of the microphone.
