DPA 4099-DP-2-201-D CORE+ is a specialized microphone kit from 2025, designed for uncompromising drum and percussion sound reinforcement. This CORE+ version offers a 10 dB wider dynamic range than previous models, ensuring incredible clarity and detail even in the most challenging stage conditions. The "Extreme SPL" (DP-2) capsule is designed to withstand immense sound pressure, making it ideal for mounting close to the snare drum or toms.

The included D-CLIP holder allows for quick and secure attachment of the microphone to the drum rim, while the flexible gooseneck holder ensures precise microphone positioning. The supercardioid polar pattern effectively isolates the drum sound from neighboring cymbals or other instrument noise, reducing "bleed" in the mix. The new MicroLock connector system and IP58 certification (dust and moisture resistance) guarantee equipment durability during intense touring.
