DPA 4099-DP-1 CORE+ is the latest generation (2025 model) high-end condenser microphone designed for professional sound reinforcement of acoustic instruments both on stage and in the studio. This CORE+ version boasts an even wider dynamic range (118 dB) and delivers incredible clarity and natural sound without any perceptible distortion. The "Loud SPL" model is optimized for most instruments – from strings to wind instruments – and features a maximum sound pressure level (SPL) handling of 145 dB.

The microphone has a supercardioid polar pattern, which effectively isolates the instrument from ambient stage noise and other instruments, while ensuring excellent resistance to acoustic feedback. The innovative CORE+ technology minimizes harmonic distortion across the entire dynamic range, making the instrument sound lively and authentic. The improved design includes IP58 certification, ensuring resistance to dust and moisture, and a new, more flexible mounting system.
