Denon PMA-900HNE Network Integrated Amplifier

Denon PMA-900HNE Network Integrated Amplifier

Denon PMA-900HNE is a network integrated amplifier with HEOS. It combines passive-speaker amplification, online music playback and connections for analogue and digital sources. Its MM/MC phono input supports a turntable with either cartridge type.

HEOS provides app control and multiroom playback with compatible products. AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, internet radio and Roon Ready are supported. Service availability depends on region, account and firmware version.

USB flash drives and network libraries support WAV, FLAC and ALAC up to 192 kHz / 24 bit, plus DSD up to 5.6 MHz. Wi-Fi operates on 2.4 and 5 GHz, and Bluetooth both receives music and transmits audio to compatible wireless headphones.

Three optical inputs and one coaxial input accept stereo PCM from a TV or player. A dedicated subwoofer output has a 150 Hz filter. Source Direct bypasses tone controls, and the OLED display can be dimmed or switched off.

Main Features

• AHC amplification and an SLDC chassis separate circuits carrying different signal levels.
• Ethernet provides a wired alternative to Wi-Fi.
• TV Auto Play switches the amplifier on when digital audio is detected.
• A/B speaker terminals, a headphone socket and a subwoofer output accommodate different listening arrangements.
