Denon PMA-3000NE is an integrated stereo amplifier for passive loudspeakers. It combines a UHC-MOS power amplifier, an MM/MC phono stage and a USB-B DAC, allowing a turntable, computer and other music sources to share one system.

Ultra AL32 Processing handles digital audio, while four ESS ES9018K2M DACs and the DAC Master Clock design perform conversion. The USB-B input accepts PCM up to 384 kHz / 32 bit and DSD up to 11.2 MHz from a compatible computer.

Three optical inputs and one coaxial input accept stereo PCM audio from a TV or player. USB-B is not a USB flash-drive connection: playback runs on the computer, and Windows requires the Denon USB driver.

Source Direct bypasses the bass and treble tone controls, while Analog Mode disables digital circuitry when listening to analogue sources. The EXT.PRE input allows power-amplifier operation with an external preamplifier; volume must then be controlled by that external device.
