Denon Home Subwoofer Active Subwoofer

Denon Home Subwoofer Active Subwoofer

The Denon Home Subwoofer is an active subwoofer with a down-firing 203 mm (8-inch) driver. Its built-in amplifier adds dedicated bass reproduction to music and film sound in a compatible Denon Home or HEOS system.

Pair it with a Denon Home speaker or Home Sound Bar 550 through the HEOS app. Wi-Fi carries audio from the compatible system, removing the need for an audio cable to the sound bar. The subwoofer still requires mains power.

Adjust subwoofer level, low-pass filter frequency and phase in the HEOS app to match the main speakers and placement in the room. Rear-panel controls provide volume adjustment, muting and network connection.

Ethernet supports a wired network. USB and AUX connections accept additional music sources for the HEOS system. This is a low-frequency system component; main speakers and a sound bar are not included.
