Denon DP-29F is a silver fully automatic belt-drive turntable with a factory-installed MM cartridge. Start and Stop buttons control playback; at the end of a record the tonearm returns to its rest and the platter stops.

Tracking force is fixed at the factory, so counterweight balancing is unnecessary before listening. The stylus can be replaced with a DSN-82 when worn. A speed switch selects 33⅓ or 45 rpm playback.

A switchable RIAA phono equalizer permits connection to an amplifier’s line-level AUX input. Turn equalization off for a phono MM input; the RCA cable is already attached to the turntable.

17 cm records must be started manually by moving the tonearm to the desired position. The supplied 45 rpm adapter fits records with a large centre hole and stores in the turntable when unused.
