Carry-On FC49 Foldable MIDI Controller

Carry-On FC49 Foldable MIDI Controller

The Carry-on FC49 is a foldable 49-key MIDI controller with full-width, velocity-sensitive keys.

Its folding construction reduces the controller’s transport size, while the internal battery supports use away from a fixed studio computer. It has no built-in instrument sounds or speakers, so connected software or external MIDI equipment is required to produce sound.

An X/Y touchpad, two assignable knobs, transport controls, and an arpeggiator provide direct control of music software and selected parameters. The manufacturer specifies velocity-sensitive keys but does not list aftertouch.

MIDI can be sent over USB, Bluetooth, or the 3.5 mm TRS MIDI output. The internal battery provides up to 8 hours of use, and USB-C is used for connectivity and charging.
