The BEHRINGER XENYX X1622USB is a 16-input, 2/2-bus analog mixer for bands, small venues, rehearsal spaces, and stereo recording to a computer.

Four mono channels combine XENYX microphone preamps, balanced XLR and 1/4-inch TRS line inputs, insert points, and one-knob compressors. Their 3-band EQ sections include a sweepable midrange from 100 Hz to 8 kHz, allowing the operator to select the frequency area that requires adjustment.

Four stereo input channels use pairs of balanced 1/4-inch TRS connectors and fixed 4-band EQ. Two Aux sends serve monitor and effects applications: the first is switchable pre- or post-fader, while the second operates post-fader for the internal processor or an external effects feed.

The onboard 24-bit dual-engine processor provides 16 editable reverb, delay, chorus, flanger, pitch-shift, and combination effects. Clip, Mute, Solo, and PFL functions plus main-mix and subgroup routing give the operator clear control over every channel.

The bidirectional stereo USB audio interface operates at 16-bit / 48 kHz and links the console to a PC or Mac for recording and playback. Separate main, control-room, headphone, Aux, and 2-Track connections support both live sound and compact recording systems.
