Behringer LM DRUM is a hybrid sampling drum machine designed for rhythm programming, recording custom samples, studio music production and live performance.

LM DRUM features 109 built-in drum sounds and an 8/12-bit sampling engine that recreates the distinctive character of 1980s digital drum machines. Users can also record their own samples through the line input or load WAV files using the SynthTribe application.

The digital sound engine is combined with analog circuitry featuring a 3320 VCF and 2164 VCA. The integrated effects bus includes a Wave Designer for shaping the attack and sustain portions of a sound, together with an analog filter that can operate in low-pass or high-pass mode. Each voice can be assigned to the effects bus independently.

The 64-step sequencer supports polymetric sequencing, step repeat, note repeat, real-time programming, probability, swing, flam, randomization, track mute and track solo. Rhythms can be performed using 16 velocity-sensitive pads with aftertouch or triggered from an external MIDI controller or electronic drum kit.

Sixteen individual analog voice outputs allow each drum sound to be recorded or processed separately with external equipment. LM DRUM also provides stereo main outputs, a headphone output, three assignable analog trigger outputs, sync connections, MIDI In, Out and Thru, and USB MIDI connectivity.
