Audio-Technica ATW-A49 is a set of two passive directional UHF antennas (LPDA – Log Periodic Dipole Array) designed to maximize the operational reliability of wireless microphones and in-ear monitor systems. The antennas operate within an extremely wide frequency range of 440–900 MHz, making them compatible with virtually all UHF systems. Due to their directional 90° dispersion, these antennas focus signal reception on the stage and suppress interference coming from the sides or rear.

The antennas provide a 6 dB passive signal gain compared to standard antennas, which allows the signal to "punch through" over longer distances and prevent audio drop-outs. The construction is exceptionally durable: the body is made of industrial copper-clad epoxy fiberglass, which is resistant to corrosion, UV radiation, and vibration. This ensures stable operation even in challenging conditions.

The antennas are suitable for both permanent installation and mobile use – they can be easily mounted on standard microphone stands, and the BNC connector is positioned to reduce cable strain.
