Audio-Technica ATW-1701 is a compact and reliable System 10 digital wireless system, designed specifically for videographers, journalists, and vloggers. The system operates at 24-bit / 48 kHz resolution, ensuring completely natural sound and reliable communication in the 2.4 GHz frequency band, which is protected from TV and radio signal interference.

The system uses three levels of diversity for reliable signal transmission: Frequency (transmits the signal on two frequencies), Time (transmits data in multiple time intervals), and Space (uses two antennas). The receiver is extremely lightweight and compact, featuring an integrated rechargeable battery and a special mount for attaching to a camera ("hot shoe").

Operation is extremely simple due to automatic frequency selection: the system automatically finds a free channel and instantly synchronizes the transmitter with the receiver. The body-pack transmitter has a standard 4-pin locking connector, allowing various Audio-Technica microphones (lavalier, headworn) or instrument cables to be connected (microphone not included, sold separately).
