The ALLEN & HEATH DX168 is a rugged, portable 96kHz expander (stage box) designed for dLive, Avantis, and SQ systems, as well as AHM-64 matrix processors. This unit provides an additional 16 mic/line inputs and 8 line outputs, allowing for convenient expansion of your audio system's capabilities both on stage and in fixed installations.

The DX168 connects via the DX protocol using a Cat5e cable, ensuring transparent audio transmission over long distances. Its design with rubber bumpers allows it to be placed directly on the stage floor, while an optional kit (RK19) enables rack-mounting in a standard 19-inch rack. Thanks to its "Plug-and-Play" functionality, the system automatically recognizes the unit without complex configuration.
