The ALLEN & HEATH AB168 is a robust, portable digital expansion unit (stage box), specially designed for Allen & Heath Qu, SQ, Avantis systems, and AHM matrix processors. This device provides an additional 16 microphone inputs and 8 line outputs, allowing convenient expansion of the audio system's capabilities on stage using just a single Cat5e cable.

The device features extremely simple "Plug-and-Play" operation, and its dSNAKE protocol ensures reliable audio transmission up to 120 meters. The AB168's construction with rubber bumpers allows it to be safely placed directly on the stage floor, and with an optional RK19 kit, the unit can be mounted in a standard 19-inch rack. Each input features high-quality preamplifiers with individual +48V phantom power.
