DPA 4018VL-B-SE5 is a modular supercardioid condenser vocal microphone head with a SE5 adapter.

This 4018VL version is intended for stage vocals and speech, while the linear response leaves tonal shaping to the sound engineer and the rest of the signal chain. Its supercardioid pattern focuses pickup on the performer and helps reduce spill from nearby stage sources.

The included SE5 adapter connects the d:facto capsule to Sennheiser 5200 wireless systems. This is a microphone head for a wireless transmitter handle; the transmitter itself is not included.

The modular d:facto construction lets the user change the capsule or adapter when the wireless platform changes. The capsule keeps its acoustic voicing while the correct adapter is selected for the specific transmitter handle.
